YouTube
REVERB uploads vertical videos to your YouTube channel as Shorts, with a title and the caption as description.
Until YouTube audits REVERB, videos it uploads stay private. You can make them public in YouTube Studio.
Connecting
- You need a YouTube channel. You connect it with Google.
- Each connection is one channel: the one you pick when Google asks which account or channel to use. Connect again and pick another to add it.
- Google only lists channels you own or manage as a brand account owner or manager. Access given only in YouTube Studio’s channel permissions isn’t enough; ask the channel’s owner to add you to the brand account, or to connect it themselves.
Shorts
- A vertical or square video up to 3 minutes becomes a Short. Photos can’t go to YouTube.
- YouTube has no collaborators. Mentions work as text in the description.
- Each Short needs a title: up to 100 characters, without
<or>, as YouTube requires.
- Pick the visibility: public, unlisted or private. YouTube can take a few minutes to process the video after the upload.
Stats
REVERB imports the channel’s videos from the last 90 days with their views, likes, comments and shares, and its subscriber count.
