Suggested posting times

When you schedule a post, the editor suggests a few times based on when your own posts did best.

Where you see them

When you pick Schedule in the editor, it suggests 3 times for the platforms you picked. Click one to fill in the date and time.

  • Each suggestion is on a different day.
  • They’re at least an hour ahead, on the quarter hour.
  • All times are in the team’s timezone.

How they’re picked

  • REVERB looks at the team’s posts from the last 90 days, per platform, both published through REVERB and made in the apps.
  • Each post’s views (or engagement, where a platform doesn’t report views) are compared with what is usual for its account, by weekday and hour.
  • The result is smoothed and capped, so one viral post doesn’t decide.

Days that are skipped

  • Days that already have a post, scheduled or published.
  • Weeks that already reach the weekly target. When this week is full, the editor says so and suggests times next week.
A platform needs 8 of your posts with stats before suggestions are based on them. Until then they follow general guidance, and the editor says so.
