Instagram

Connect an Instagram Business or Creator account by signing in with Instagram. No Facebook Page is needed.

What you need

  • An Instagram Business or Creator account. Personal accounts can’t be connected. You can switch a personal account to a professional one in the Instagram app’s settings.
  • No Facebook Page. You connect by signing in with Instagram itself.

Connecting

  1. Click Connect account in the sidebar and pick Instagram.
  2. Sign in with the Instagram account this team posts to.
  3. Approve what REVERB asks for, then confirm the account.

To add another Instagram account, connect again and switch accounts on Instagram first.

Posting

  • One photo becomes a post, several photos a carousel (up to 10), and a video a Reel.
  • Instagram takes only JPEG photos, so a PNG or WebP goes out as a JPEG copy.
  • Captions can be up to 2,200 characters.
  • You can invite up to 3 collaborators per post. They must accept in the app. See @mentions and collaborators.

Posts and stats

REVERB imports the account’s posts from the last 90 days when you connect it, and picks up posts you make in the Instagram app within about 3 hours. Stats include views, likes, comments, shares and saves.
