TikTok
REVERB posts videos and photo posts to TikTok, with the audience, interaction and disclosure settings TikTok asks for.
Until TikTok approves REVERB, posts to TikTok go out as “Only me”: private, visible only to the account. Branded content has to wait for that too, as TikTok doesn’t allow it privately.
Connecting
- Any TikTok account can be connected.
- Click Connect account in the sidebar, pick TikTok, sign in and approve.
- If a connected TikTok account shows an error, connecting the same account again repairs it.
Posting
- Photos become a photo post or carousel, and a video a TikTok video.
- When you pick a TikTok account, the editor checks it with TikTok and shows who the post goes out as. Pick who can view the post; the choices are the ones TikTok allows for that account.
- Choose whether people can comment, duet or stitch. Ones turned off in the account’s TikTok settings can’t be turned on here.
- If the post promotes your own business or someone else’s, turn on Disclose commercial content and say which. TikTok labels it “Promotional content” or “Paid partnership”.
- It can take a few minutes after publishing for the post to appear on the profile.
- TikTok has no collaborators. Mentions work as text in the caption.
Stats
REVERB imports the account’s public videos from the last 90 days with their views, likes, comments and shares, and its follower count. Private posts aren’t imported.
