Email notifications
Which emails REVERB sends, and what it shows only in the app.
A scheduled post fails
When a scheduled post fails on a platform, everyone on the team gets an email, one per failed platform. It has:
- the post’s title and the platform,
- the reason it failed,
- the planned time, in the team’s timezone,
- what to do next: press Retry, or check the platform first when it may already have the post,
- a link to the post.
Publish now and Retry don’t send this email; you see the outcome in the app.
An account stops working
- When REVERB loses access to a connected account (for example, after a password change), everyone on the team gets one email naming the account and the reason. Connections are checked about once a day, and whenever posts are synced.
- When someone removes REVERB in their Facebook or Instagram settings, the account is disconnected and the team gets an email saying so.
- Disconnecting an account yourself in REVERB doesn’t send email. See Reconnecting an account.
Other emails
- Invitations to join a team. See Inviting people.
- Password reset links, when you ask for one. See Password reset.
Shown only in the app
- A broken connection also shows a warning next to the account in the sidebar until someone connects it again.
- Results of Publish now and Retry show on the post on the Posts page.
